December 20, 2011 - The Emergency Information Infrastructure Partnership (EIIP) is pleased to announce the following new member to serve on the EIIP Board of Directors for the next two years:
Mr. Copenhaver joins current Board Members, Bruce Binder, Elysa Jones, Havidán Rodríguez, Christopher Saeger, Pascal Schuback, John Scott, Ellis Stanley, and Dan Summers. In other action, Havidán Rodriquez was chosen as the EIIP Board Chair. (For more information about our Board Members, please see "About Us" on the EMForum.org Website.) EIIP President Avagene Moore noted, "The EIIP continues to be successful after 14 years of providing educational opportunities for the emergency management community. Our success is due to a need in the field plus the expertise and guidance provided by our Board of Directors. We are most appreciative of their service and the broad-based audience that attends our Webinars and takes advantage of our recordings and transcripts. The EIIP looks forward to another year of work on behalf of emergency management stakeholders at all levels." The Emergency Information Infrastructure Project is a non-profit educational organization, dedicated to enhancing the practice of emergency management, and thereby public safety, through offering professional development opportunities to practitioners and other interested persons at no cost. Bi-monthly EMForum.org presentations are open to the public, and no advanced registration is required. For further information, see http://www.emforum.org. ### |
