INTRODUCTION

EMForum.org is extremely pleased to announce an exciting new partnership with Jacksonville State University (JSU) to pilot the award of continuing education units (CEUs) for attending EMForum.org Webinar programs. (Note: you must log into each live Webinar to receive credit.)

JSU's Institute for Emergency Preparedness (IEP) offers both undergraduate and graduate programs in emergency management and this partnership was made possible through the generous efforts of Dr. Jane Kushma, Associate Professor and Director of IEP's Doctoral Program.

The initial pilot will run through September 30, 2012. The response from the community and our experience during the first year will determine whether we continue to provide this service in the future.

There is no up front cost to enroll. A $35.00 fee is payable to JSU at the time you request a certificate to receive your credit. If you value this opportunity, we encourage you to register today!

HOW TO REGISTER

1. You must enroll with Jacksonville State University (JSU) first in order to earn contact hours for EMForum.org programs attended after the date of your enrollment, (i.e., you cannot request credit for programs you attended prior to your enrollment date).

2. Go to http://coned.jsu.edu/wconnect/EnrollmentCard.awp and click on Create Account to register with JSU. You will receive an email confirmation with your account number.

3. Once you have an account, login from http://coned.jsu.edu/wconnect/UserLogon.awp

4. You will need to register for the course titled "EMForum.org Continuing Education for Emergency Management." You can access from http://coned.jsu.edu/wconnect/CourseStatus.awp?&course=11CEUEMFORUM, or use the course search feature and enter EMForum.

5. Select the course title and click on the button to Add to Enrollment Card. (Note: It will not be necessary to register for each separate EMForum.org program.)

6. On the EMForum.org course page, review or edit your personal information and click on Finish Registration.

7. The next page requests billing information. The fee of $35.00 is not paid until you are ready to request a certificate. Do not select the credit card option. Select "Bill Me." This will complete your registration but you will not be billed at that time.
